Dollhouse miniature 1:12 handmade book.

Bound by hand with printed cover glued over cardboard like a real hardcover book. Complete with "marbled" endpapers and printed interior pages. Arranged to include title page, introduction, table of contents and illustrated pages about birds. The pages are printed double sided, not glued to each other. The edge of the text block is aged to give an authentic antique look.

The book represents an antique edition of "Bewick's Birds", the book Jane Eyre is reading in the window seat at the beginning of the novel.

Care: The books are inkjet printed to give a soft old-fashioned look, keep your book dry and away from pets! The cover and endpapers are varnished. The spine is glued not sewn, but pages are assembled in spreads to be more secure.
